Flavours of Fingal County Show is running a prestigious photography competition in Newbridge House, Donabate, Co. Dublin on the 1st and 2nd of July 2023

The Theme this year is;

Best of Rural Fingal

Welcome to the Best of Rural Fingal Photography Competition, where we celebrate the mesmerizing beauty and charm of Fingal's rural landscapes. This competition invites amateur photographers of all levels to capture the essence of rural life in Fingal, showcasing the region's picturesque countryside, quaint villages, rolling farmlands, and breathtaking natural vistas.

Through the lens of your camera, we invite you to explore the hidden gems, rich heritage, and unique character that make Fingal's rural areas truly special. Whether you're capturing golden sunsets over wheat fields, vibrant local markets, or serene rivers nestled amidst rolling hills, this competition is your opportunity to showcase the very best of rural Fingal and share its untold stories with the world. Join us in this captivating journey of visual storytelling and let your photographs reveal the undeniable beauty and tranquility of Fingal's rural landscapes.

 

All photos must be taken within Fingal and location stated with entry.

Flavours of Fingal Amateur Photography Competition:
Rules, Terms & Conditions 2023

  1. The competition is open to amateur photographers.
  2. Entry is restricted to people aged 18 and over.
  3. Closing date extended until Wednesday 28th of June
  4. The judge’s decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. The promoter is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winners arising from his or her acceptance of the prize.
  6. By entering the competition and submitting your photograph, you hereby grant Fingal County Council and Flavours of Fingal a license to use your photograph.
  7. All imagery MUST be the total and exclusive work of the submitting photographer and may not include any element that is the copyright of another.
  8. No digitally altered images will be accepted (no cloning, adding or removing elements). Basic enhancements are allowed e.g. brightness, contrast, sharpening, cropping. High Dynamic Range (HDR) and stitched panoramas are NOT acceptable
  9. The promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions.
  10. When a photograph is submitted and entry finalised, the entry cannot be changed or edited.
  11. Entries will be exhibited at the show in hard copy.
  12. All pictures must be submitted as a hard copy. Print format size 12”x 8” Not Mounted or Framed
